Amazing, Jess, how you can even personify those haunting unsaid words that make us believe that they have life and spirit all of their own. Your verse is beautifully crafted with a magical ending. Well done! Debbie

Oh my, a little darker than your normal fare, but equally as dynamic.
Very good indeed. I love everything ghost and ghost related.
Fun!

Then I shall join you as well, Jessica, for I, too will be:
...a haunted host
until my final day.
Then I'll become the ghost
of words I didn't say.
Profoundly beautiful and moving, Jessica.
So very much enjoyed.
Especially, this stanza:
Inside my veins, they stream;
the echo marks their travel.
They gather at each seam
to tug my slow unravel.
Delicious.
Thank you for sharing!
Fondly,
diane

This poem was beautiful and haunting. I especially liked that last stanza, the last two lines in particular. Thank you so much for sharing, and best wishes to you.
