Joanne, you are so sweet, as always. Thank you for your very kind comments for her poem. You have no idea how much that means to me.
Liz will also enjoy all the wonderful well wishes she is getting.
Thank you again from the both of us to you, our wonderful friend.
A big Sunset Strip thank you for those awesome six stars too!
I don't know if the third video was in yet when you read it, and you are maybe too young to remember this, as I barely do, but I added the song, "Kooky, Kooky, Lend me your comb"

Debi, I do know Liz through her reviews. I guess the fact that she is my age, we can both remember when 77 Sunset was on TV. Edd 'Kookie' Brynes! Well done! Terry.

Hi Debi.
This poem shows the Liz has had a a full and busy life.
Was she a counsellor or hotline worker for domestic violence and assault victims as well as drug abuse and mental health. It is not clear.
I like the allusion to the TV show.
Happy Birthday Liz.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Have a great day.

Hi Joan, with all due respect, I am a little confused at how that could be confusing. With all my poetry, I either say one thing in two lines or one whole stanza. In this particular subject I write on the first line that she had three careers in her lifetime. Then I used the next three to tell what they were. I tie my meaning in a few syllables, metered perfectly and rhymes at the end, with some words almost impossible to fit, but I do accomplish it.
Maybe if you read it one more time you will see what I am talking about. And like I said, I am just explaining and my tone is meant to be be positive, so I don't mean it to be negative in any way. I guess the only way I could have made it more clear would be to do prose or free verse. I would have said something in author's notes if I thought it was unclear. I hope that helped.
I appreciate you always asking tho and all your kind comments.
But I thank you, my dear friend and I hope that helped a little. Debi

I understand these were her three careers. I was just asking what she did within the fields. Did she get extra education to become a counselor or was she doing other things.

Thanks Hon, but she never did give me that info. It is something I can ask tho. I was kinda curious myself.

Oh my! You did it again! Can I say that I am jealous. .. No, I guess I shouldn't. But, I am extremely envious and quite proud to be witness to your fun, creative writing talent! I always try to make sure that at least once during every day, I am responsible for someone smiling. Doesn't matter who, but intuition will always guide us to a deserving person. What you do for people is beautiful! Thank you

Well my newest sweet friend, you are one of the next ones on my list. I look forward to it very much.
I sure appreciate all your kind words for Liz and her poem, just as I know she will.
As much as the show, 77 Sunset Strip was a little before I was old enough to enjoy it, the song came right back to me. So I figured my parents and older siblings used to watch it. It was a fun theme to use for her.
Thank you so very much, my very dear friend.

Sorry, I'm out of sixes. This is so deserving of the maximum. You, Debbie
truly are one of the better writers on site and this poem certainly lives up to that praise. Is it about Helen Reddy?
It truly is an uplifting write.

Oh Bob, you are so sweet, and I appreciate the kind words so very much.
But if you look on the description by the title you will see it say it is for
Liz O' Neill. She has been writing on here for many years, just as you have been. I can see how it may be a little confusing if you didn't see that part.
Thank you again, my awesome friend. I appreciate you and your kind words so very much. Love, Debi

As usual a true story in poetic form, which you do to perfection. So many stories out their and I believe writing them down is therapeutic. Lovely sunny day here time for lunch. Out in the garden later on that is my mind relaxing time. Love and best wishes

Hello, Gaye, and thank you so very much for this lovely review again and these very sweet words and once again, generous stars!
I am so glad that it is so nice where you are, and I am a little envious as you sit in your lovely garden but today it got cold here. But we have been spoiled as it is usually down to minus 50 degrees F at times in Jan and Feb. So today was plus twenty.
I cannot wait for October 5th, as I have something awesome planned for you, my sweet friend. You deserve the best, as you truly are. Thanks again, Sweetie! Lotsa Love, Debi
