Terrific poem, Deb! Ann's an inspiration... I'm closing in on the big "70" and wish I had half her energy and (by the way) awesome ability to write stories that enthrall!

I enjoyed finding out about Ann from your birthday greeting to her. She surely has had sorrow - losing not one, but two husbands. I'm glad she still has family, and her grandkids bring her joy. Happy Birthday to Ann. I hope she enjoys her retirement. I did my last subbing day teaching at age 76!
