When I started reading this, I thought it was all true. I was going to say, and still will, that it was a great idea and hoped someone would start a company like that here in the UK. I'm sure some would, and do what these two inventive women have done! LOL. What a twist at the end! I still think the idea is good, but the legal idea, not the scam. Well done, Terry!! :)) Sandra xx

Sandra, thank you for reading my twisted tale. Terry.

I believe we are to understand that Betsy and Rachel split the ten million that Betsy's interview helped Rachel get. Obviously, they think men are stupid, and sometimes they are. Good story.

Thanks for writing this interesting piece of prose. Is it based on a true story? It seems plausible, but most of your stories do. I was unsure about the ending. I thought she stole 10 million so who did she split it with? What happened to the other five million. i enjoy reading your writings but help me out on this ending. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for reading. It is all fiction. Raquel and Betsy were partners on the scam, and split the ten million.
-
Hahaha...I thought she had a partner but couldn't figure out who. What a mind you must have to create such elaborate plots. Another enjoyable read!
-
LOL, a twisted tale. Terry.
-
Yes, indeed a twisted tale. I have told in my lifetime a few twisted tales and even had a twisted tail here and there. LOL
-
And yet, you have not told one tale of a twisted tail, LOL
-
On page two of my portfolio is a poem called "Been Around a Bush or Two". It is a tale of a twisted tail. LOL Check it out.
-
Okay, a good one, a little reserved in a winky way.

Haha... she's an older woman.

Hello Terry,
Well, this was an interesting story for sure. I had to look several times to make sure it was fiction. On the one hand, perhaps such an organization could come in handy, although the opportunity for abuse would be great. There is a contingency of feminists who seem to think that no man is good and being a guy would right away make you suspect. Good think I'm happily married. It was a surprise ending for sure. Thanks for sharing this highly entertaining story.
Have a blessed evening.

Your story was well thought out, Terry. I had no idea Betsy was the scammer. You set that up in a great way. I liked how you stated the
media is some of the biggest offenders (paraphrased). This sounded
so real and may be soon. Your lines/words were smooth flowing
with great details. The art choice of Raquel Welch was perfect, too.

I have to say Terry, I never saw the ending coming. Even while it is not too uncommon for a chief officer to ran a scam, you gave it even more of a twist to find out Ms. Everman was in on the scheme.
Very clever and creative
.Best wishes

Ah, I would have been one of the gullible ones. Certainly I wouldn't have thought dear Betsy was involved in it all. As Raquel spoke, I was thinking, "This isn't such a bad idea, conceptually, in its broadest ideology, i.e., leveling the playing field and having an organization that stands watchguard over the disenfranchisement of women -- to even expand it to the disenfranchisement of well-meaning humans. I felt that way until the first implementary step was taken: that of a data base for all the sex offenders in the U.S. All kinds of opportunities for abuse popped up in my mind.
At any rate, it turned out to be damned good fiction, Terry. Congratulations again.

NASWA sounds like a great idea. A clearing house for dateable, marriageable men.
How about deadbeat dads?
Nice twist! Betsy was in on it the whole time.
It's a little unclear who Betsy is talking to at the end. Not clear who the special friend would be.
Another one of your entertaining reads.

Sol, # is a good idea, thanks for that. I get your point about not spelling it out, but I liked the idea of the reader thinking a bit and realizing the only other character was Raquel. Thank you for reading. Terry.

So Betsy was in on the scam too. Isn't that interesting? LOL Thank you for sharing this with us. I enjoyed reading. This is very well written and creative. Who would have thought of a such a data base?
