Having no writing experience,
world-building is a curious concept. I hadn't considered it in quite the way discussed. I will definitely try the exercise you suggested.

Thanks for sharing another bunch of good tips that can go a long way toward improving one's descriptions. Crabs or city chiggers: everyone has heard the first term--but the later, nearly no one. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

Another piece to add to my Gareth file. I'll be doing a lot more of your execises. It's quite an interesting learning curve. Last week I wrote a descrition of our lounge, and each time I read it through, I took out more and more words until it described it all in just a few words.
