That's a good one, Diane. Nice pictures. We have a good number of blue jays that come our feeders. They are really skittish. If you go a little farther north in our state (Maine), you will find the Canada Jay. They are quite tame at times. I have had them eat out of my hand.

This is just delightful, dear Diane. A joy to my day and a feast for my poor eyes and hungry soul. I love the fuss of the blue jay. He just misses you. Maybe he wants you to come more often. I know I would.
Sending you my best today as always, and six stars to bless.

Hello, Sal!
Between this blue jay and his pesky squirrel friends, I must be missed a lot! :) Quite the symphony when I'm outside, and they all pay me a visit! :)
I am honored by your exceptional rating and complimentary review.
So pleased my offering resonated with you!
Thank you!

I loved the sound you put with it. I wasn't expecting it. I want to go out there with you. I'm a klutz so I can't do stuff like that alone. We can sit apart and listen alone if you prefer. This makes me super excited about warmer days that are ahead.

Hi Diane, that's a beautiful free verse poem taking us on a journey to observe what mother nature has in store for us. The imagery is outstanding, and I was there as a keen observer. Wow, I liked this a lot. Ulla:)))

Hoping your roads are open, and the rain has stopped! Yes?
We had an ice storm last night and most of today. No venture to Miller's Pond for this gal! :)
Thank you!

Hello Mrs. KT,
What a wonderful piece of Biographical Poetry this is!
You have BEAUTIFULLY depicted Miller's Pond as well as its ins and outs.
Impressive phraseology;
Enchanting flow throughout from the beginning to the end;
Live description of lovely scenes.
It's just like picturization of the Mother Nature's heart.
EXCEPTIONAL in all respects!

Beautiful, poetic writing...love the pictures...there is no more precious gift than Mother Nature with all her treasures including the does and birds, especially your grumpy blue jay buddy. This was an absolute pleasure to read and feast my eyes on. Thanks so much for sharing? Can I ask where you live?

Thanks for this lovely peek into your daily world and the virtual visit to the denizens of Miller's Pond. I know exactly what you mean by 'the oasis of rejuvenation'. I feel the same by venturing outside my house - different birds and critters from you and a different landscape too, but still a calming and refreshing place to drop a few cares and worries.
Great presentation too with all those attractive pics to break up the lengthy text.
Our capital city (Wellington) has an unofficial motto, 'You can't beat Wellington on a good day'. Your poem echoes that sentiment as it revels in the little paradise you are so lucky to enjoy.

Wow! Fabulous presentation with your reflective free verse that helps us enjoy Miller's Pond. You give us a feast for our eyes and ears and our poetry-thirsty souls. Your slender deer look completely different from the stocky ones out West. Thank you for taking us on this birding walk!
