I can tell you are enjoying the creative outlet Fanstory provides you. Love your choice of words--especially "reeling in the words". I'll remember that when I need or want to do the same. Happy writing!

Hello fellow writer a good day to you. I hope this review finds you well. As a poet/writer it is always interesting to see the different takes on these contest/writing prompts. I think your take is definitely a good one. Hopefully so will others, good job and good luck in the contest.

This is such a perfect list of the many reasons that we chose to write, and I'm sure most of the writers here would echo your sentiments. I certainly do. Your opening "rap" is brilliant, with it's free flowing train of thoughts, excellent internal rhymes. I'm just surprised the last line didn't end... "Is it a flash flood or a dribble? I nibble my pen and begin to scribble." :-) Brilliant writing.

This was a fun essay to read! I especially liked the part where you did all the rhyming. That was really catchy and unique. The fishing analogy was creative, too. Thanks for sharing this! Hugs and blessings.

Thanks for your kind comments. It's always hard writing about oneself.

Sharing our writing means we also share our thoughts which can be very cathartic as it is comforting to know others have the same feelings and we feel less alone, a fine write about writing and enjoying other people's views, love Dolly x
