The very hands offered to me, hands that offer to lift me from the pile of filth. Hands that offer to raise me to heights I have no right to yet are freely offered because of the divine love that changes me from the vile creature I am into the divinely loved person that he adores. My hands once covered in sin now raised in praise to the one who covers all sin with
his divine saving grace.

I was once asked to preach on the subject of the Strong Wonderful Hand of God. I have to study the functions of the hand and it is such an amazing tool for human beings. God created such a wonderful instrument for our use. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful poem on the hand, Kit

This is a heartfelt poem that tells all the things hands can do. It shows what the sacrifice on the cross gave us. It lets us know that prayer gives strength like comforting hands.

I like the way you spoke of the different uses and experiences of hands in each verse, all eloquent, and all very moving. The first verse is particularly powerful. Our hands can be such instruments of blessing if used wisely. Lovely poem. A great response to the prompt.
