Loved the description and language used in this to portray the walking in a stream I assume..very well written and I could almost imagine my own soggy feet as I was reading it haha. Well done.

This is an excellent poem on shoes. I like your descriptions of the Converse shoes and how you are splashing through the water running after trout in hopes of catching one. This is very well done. I love the photo from Google you found for this piece.

That's true dedication! I have gotten soaked while on a walk but never by choice. But I guess fishermen are willing to face cold and rain to catch that one big one. Hope you did!

Your vivid use of words captures the feel of being out in nature. The reader can feel the wet shoes as the quest for a trout goes on. Excellent free verse form that takes the reader away to a peaceful place.
