That was a beautiful story, it sounded so true! I think there are fairies, the little people that keep an eye on us. I think they are friends of the angels who also watch over us. This was so imaginative and sweet, I loved it. Well done, dear SATP Love and hugs. Sandra xx

You never cease to amaze me! Your stories have depth and feeling. This issuch a wonderful story of loving paid to loved ones and personification of the lightning bugs as Angels keeping watch for eternity.
I wish this story could be give a hundred stars. This made my eyes water a bit.

Thank you for sharing this club entry with us. Quite a while ago we had a Fanstory member, named Brook. She has since died. She often wrote poems about fairies. She pretty much had me convinced I had fairies living in my Oak grove. LOL I'm glad you shared this story. It brought back fond memories of Brook.

But I'll never forget that tiny folk who were willing to be a friend to a mortal. - this read slightly awkwardly to them. I would suggest changing that to those. (it may just be me though)
