A very courageous endeavor of writing a mysterious story in thirty-three words. I enjoyed the ending of the bright light we hope to walk through one day. GOOD LUCK IN THE CONTEST.

You did a very good job with those few words, and it made me have goose-bumps. The imagery in your words are vivid, putting me there at the scene. Very well done, and good luck in the contest :) Sandra xx

The objective correlative of your work reminisces the process of dying.
The work highlights a prelude to the process, which begins with a diminishing candour of the five senses; an opened doorway; and an illumination of brilliant white light that navigates heavenwards.
The work earns its texture through its effective use of transition anecdotes.
Excellent work. Bravo.

Life after death? I pray it is so. Have I read this to be what is written of?
And please, since thirty-three words limit us how is what is penned a dampening versus an enlightening?

Yes the process of death and life afterwards is mysterious. Is it or isn't it? We know not. Is life just a diminishment of self or the beginning of enlightenment?

Very nice piece, with a beautiful and appropriate photo to accompany. I'm assuming the transition is from this life to the spiritual world at the moment of death? I like the notion that the doorway is set within a beautiful forest. An enjoyable read. Thanks.
