I can imagine to be hit by one of little balls would feel like a sledge hammer. You did a good job with personifying the squash ball. Thank you for participating, especially on such an odd challenge. lol

It was a great challenge, different and caught my eye. Aussies are great sports people. I don't like football but we are doing very well with the women's cricket. Women do it better! Blessings, K xx

I'm glad you liked it. Thank you for telling me.

This was truly adorable, Kay. I really loved the picture. The fact that you actually wrote this as the voice of the ball was amazingly well done. I do so agree that those little balls do hurt, lol. Great job.

Ouch! I, too, was a squash player in my youth. You bring back memories of those livid, circular wounds, usually on the back of the leg. Most painful! I wouldn't blame the ball but the ungentlemanly opponent who should have called for a let!

We can at least remember our youth! Thanks for dropping in my friend. How are you traveling? I'm down with a virus at present; lots of flu around. Take care, bless you, Kay.

All good here, Kay. Sorry to hear you've got the dreaded lurgy. Hope you're feeling better soon. Best wishes, Tony

I like how you've written this from the ball's viewpoint. It is action-packed and descriptive of the encounter. I played squash competitively until several years ago and have been hit a couple of times by people who didn't call their lets.
