I think you're at your best with children's stories, Sandra. It's totally professional looking and the story-line is like no other (so far anyway). How could kids not love it? You've got me curious and looking forward to the next installment. Congratulations!
Linda

Aw, what a lovely thing to say, Linda. I do enjoy writing for children. I'm delighted you enjoyed reading it. There are three, possibly four more chapters to this story. The children get to have some wild fun while at the same time helping the whale. Thank you so much for your wonderful review! Warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

This promises to be very interesting - and intriguing. I couldn't find anything that needed fixing or adjusting. I'm sure your friend's children will be thrilled to receive this in due course

Cheers

Yes, it was very, very, nice reading. I always enjoy children's entertainment. It reminds me of sitting with my children while they were watching their cartoons. The artwork was stunning. I'm sure your friend will like the book.

What an adorable story in a poem you've created for your grandchildren! And in the cube format no less! You've hooked us in with this adventure. Can't wait to see how the children will help this poor whale in pain...

Sandra, This is a well written children's poem you have penned about the whale with a broken tooth. You used great descriptive words and great imagery from the art work you chose. I like the format you used also. I can't wait to read the next one! love and blessings, Teri

This simple poem is good for a beginning reader.

The short lines and simple rhyme scheme add to the reading potential for young children.

I have no suggestions.

Thank you for sharing. Delightful.

I am resting, Linda!!!! Lol. I just love to write for children, so in a way, this is resting. I'm busy editing my novel as well, so the big 'rest' will be end of November when we go on holiday! LOL.
The children are going to have such fun with the whale while trying to pull his tooth out. That is going to be one ginormous tooth!! As for putting just their hands in his mouth..................... Hmm, LOL!!!
The idea for this story came from my own tooth being broken. I'm waiting to see the dentist, but he's ill!! I'm popping the pills nicely!
Thank you, my darling friend, for that golden star! You always put a big smile on my face. Love you lots, sweet one. I'll get on the emails a.s.a.p hugs, love and bunches of sweet things coming your way! :)) Sandra xxx

This is absolutely fantastic! You have really created a wonderful flow, that lends itself to the storyline very well. I love the subject, it takes me back to the children's books that I enjoyed as a kid and then read to my kids. Super job!

Hi Sandra.

This is outstanding. The story is well written about the poor whale with a broken tooth. The children now get to help. This is well-conceived as they are going to help the whale to relieve his pain. You are teaching about the creature and the children's concern for him.

The illustrations are wonderful for the story line. You do an outstanding job with the CUBE16 style. I appreciate your attribution in the notes.

I'm working on a chap book with exclusively CUBE16 poetry. I have a bunch that need rewritten and edited.

Robert

AW, thank you so much, Robert! Your Cube 16 is such a brilliant format for my children's stories. Especially for those starting to read. It's simple with short lines and verses. I've listened to some children reading my last story of Scout and the Unicorn. I think this Cube 16 will be the way to go with my future children's rhymed books. Thank you for inventing it! Of course I shall also acknowlege you in each book. That way you will become as famous as Shakespeare and his sonnets! :))
I'm glad you have enjoyed part one, there are three more to come. Thank you, also, for the golden sixth star, my friend! Warm hugs. Sandra xxx

    Hi Sandra.

You are very welcome for the six stars. I enjoyed not only the narrative, but the premise up the whale with a broken tooth. That's very creative.

Thank you for your very kind and complimentary words about the CUBE16 style. I am working on a chapbook of CUBE poetry. Doing a lot of re reading and editing when necessary. In case I don't make it to the lofty heights of Will Shakespeare, thank you for that anyway. I do have one other piece of work that has done extremely well, and I will send you a private message about that.

    Robert

Hello Sandra,
A wonderful story for the kids with excellent rhymes and meter.
The best poetry is bested upon personal experience.
A broken tooth? Hmmmm. I wonder where that came from. :)
While many whales have teeth, there aren't many whale dentists
and fewer orcadontists, as orca-oral surgery is quite dangerous.
Hopefully, the mermaid is related to Flossie and can preform a bit of magic.
Perhaps they can tie some dental Flossie around the tooth,
attach it to a dolphins tail and yell, SHARK!.
Works all the time.
Best wishes to all including the whale.
Robert

LOL!! LOL!! You are too funny!! Liz suggested I feed Rapier to the whale, and now you want to bring in Flossie! Can you imagine a book with all my heroes in it together, Mildred, Flossie, Rapier (has to be the baddie) to name a few. Perhaps Sir John could put in an appearance! Lol.
I love the idea of shouting Shark! LOL, but don't forget, a shark is one of their friends!
Thank you so much for this super fabulous review, Robert, and the sixth golden star. Warm hugs, my fun friend. :)) Sandra xxx
