LOL, Mike, so he got rid of all the 'religious zealots', too - good job as they're worthless. Blimey, I can't promise to keep reviewing this series as when I do review I try to make it a proper one, but I'll sure keep reading!
'Ash; acrid black, a sour taste
to wake the screaming pain,
each breath a hacking agony
to wheeze of my refrain' - I SO wish I could write like this - so poetic and original with vivid words used.
No more quotes as it's ALL superior poetry IMHO.
Reading this masterpiece makes me feel so inadequate. BRAVO! a 'sixer' in anyone's book, though most have probably already been used up on shallow love mush or religious boredom (not that I've anything against love or religion - just the often samey way it's written about).
Genius!

I should perhaps have waited until tomorrow to post, but I've never been any good at tactical release timing! You honour me, Ray, and it's very much appreciated. I've been writing this 'book' for a couple of months, and it feels good to reach the conclusion, but like any longer work, you get a feel for the atmosphere and characters which makes it easier to get deeper and more meanigful. I'll be hard pushed to get myself back into this zone for a while, methinks.
As for the religious zealots, yeah I couldn't resist wiping them out. That's definitely a Mikey touch!

Thank you, Jetco. It seems there is little purpose in any human endeavour, at least on a global scale. Perhaps the planet deserves a chance without us. Or maybe I'm just being morbid! :-)

The moment I face a form where I'm meant to use repeating lines, I fall to pieces. I'm going to claim that here is different because it just happened naturally!

Thank you, Susan :-). Ozzy is usually a good boy, except if I get up too late, at which point he dive-bombs my stomach from the headboard because he wants his breakfast, and he is a HEAVY cat! The other one, Gyllie, has figured out that if she jumps in front of the TV, she'll get attention. She also does Riggsy's trick of flopping between my keyboard and monitor and being extremely cute!
