Ahhhhh, yes. Very clever indeed, using ol' Sherlock's (the human) most famous quote.
What an adorable tale, my friend. Well done. While it would entertain children without a doubt, I loved it too. :)

D,
A fun write. I'm not sure how this clever inspector came to that conclusion, but I suppose when we've tried all else, what's left is the only answer. ha
Thanks!

This story, The Lost Mouse, brings a manifestation of the A.C. Doyle character to where he is most needed. The game was afoot, but now in the bag.

LOL!! Oh, I see you have some entertaining (and, perhaps, a bit small-minded) kitties at your house, too -- so loving, but .... tiny, tiny brains - lol!! ;) A fun story, my lady!! ;) Thanx for sharing the latest detectives! ;) Yvette

And you have certainly managed to do that. Sherlock comes through loud and clear. It's a great little story. I liked it very much, and a great entry for the challenge. All best. Ulla:)))

Very enjoyable, very entertaining and with a hint of being educational. I do so love the characters you created, Yvonne. It makes me think that the last place you look is the place you find what ever item you are looking for. Great job. Nice art work.

I think you did an admirable job with this challenge. Your characters seemed to fit easily into their newly assigned roles. The wisdom was not lost on them as well. Loren

This is a very cute story. I assume it is for children fut it is fun for adults as well and that isn't bad advice as well for thinking about where a lost object might be found. I like the Sherlock Holmes twist to the story.

I enjoyed your delightful story from the beginning--with the name of the
brilliant sleuth. Your descriptions are specific. Charming piece. I really like the "Endeavor" series.
