Just wonderful. I love the name...'Rami Rawat'...and the reference to the sloth who wouldn't even try. The entire poem is adorable!!! Blessings....

Thank you for taking the time to visit young Rami. I must confess, that the sloth is my favorite too. I'm so glad you liked it. - Wendy

This is so cleverly written and illustrated. I like the concept of this character. Favorite lines:
"He'll race past shy rhinoceri. His pace can prick a lion's pride.
The sloth could not slow Rami down (to tell the truth, it barely tried)."

Thanks for the review, but most appreciated is your pointing out the favorites. I know that rhinocerouses is actually the plural that gets the official nod. But I found other sites who gave the i a nod and figured that the research, coupled with poetic license would make it OK. I'm glad you liked Rami. - Wendy

This is a great little story about fleet footed Rami. Love all the inter play with the animals as he whizzes past. You've done a great job with this one, and great artwork from Lynn.
cheers,
valda

I really enjoyed reading your story about Rami Rawat. You rhymed it beautifully which children (and so do I ) enjoy. I also liked your art work.
Best of luck.

I deeply appreciate the sixth marybell. I do try to write for children, and former children in hopes both groups will get a smile from my Alphabet kids. Thank you for the R & R and the kind words. - Wendy

This is going to be a wonderful children's book, Wendy. The rhyme is perfect and easy for a child to gradually learn and memorize. The theme of Rami running so fast nothing can catch him is wonderful. That is a great picture you have there, is Lynn doing all your illustrations? Well done, my friend. :) Sandra x

Thanks for the look and kind words Sandra. Yes, Lynn is doing all the illustrations. There are a few more to go and it is a busy time of year for us, so I'm not sure when she will get to them. I do hope to do something with this by summer. - Wendy

Great colourful picture. I loved this fast paced poem with good rhyming scheme and great use of alliteration. I loved your play on words 'He'll race past shy rhinoceri. His pace can prick a lion's pride.' MaggieF

A very well-written poem about a very fast runner Rank Rawat he seems to have everyone baffled about the incredible speed he can run. Before anyone knows he s already gone.
