A poem that is build on line after line of almost musical beauty, each stanza complimenting the previous, building on the title and message, a rock natures beauty, Gods gift given to be shared.

We would be surprised how many smiles are keeping tears in place.
There is an old country western song that as this sentence in it "A little bitty tear let me down

Hi, Jerry,
That song was by Freddie Fender, I think, wasn't it? I know I have heard it
and have sung along many times.
Thanks for your comments.

Carolyn, I found this interpretation of the artwork a semblance of you and your spirituality.
It shined through and through.
Good rhyming pattern and cadence to read this by. Nicely done! John

Thanks John,
The moment I saw the picture the poem flowed easily. It has been fun
to read all the other writers interpretations as well. I especially appreciate
that you feel there was somewhat of a reflection of myself embodied within
the words.
Love, Carolyn

Hi, Carolyn
= This is a super interpretation of the artwork.
= Interesting story explaining the teardrop.
= Nice work, my friend.
= I'm sooooo far behind. The last few days I've been editing to publish, so I'm doing some spot reviewing. So glad I chose this one. (*<*)

I enjoyed your challenge poem. You did a great job explaining how God created and watches over everything [the big picture]. Good job on the rhyme and smooth flow and the super message. Good job and thanks for sharing.

Carolyn, how very beautiful this is. Good alliteration
in dew-drop and fair flowers. I like that about what if
thorns bedeck her stems it's not for us to question why.
Life is filled with thorns, but they can make us grow.

Hi Carolyn,
I enjoyed your interpretation of the artwork. It's lovely to see how a piece of art can take us all to different places...
Nice abcb rhyme scheme and good use of enjambment.
I enjoyed the alliteration in care/creation, fair/flowers & cannot/compare.
Nicely done.
Kindest regards, Debra :)

What a wonderful Ode to the Rose!
A many-layered flower we use to represent so many things,
from love to friendship to mourning. A royal beauty with
stunning scent and just a touch of danger.
Great response to the picture Notes :-)
