This is great....like Edgar Allen Poe in Turbo. Another quick and effective story. I really like the first line (quote from the woman) and how you tie that back in with the guy's version of the same comment. I definitely get a vision when I read this.

I'm pleased you caught that. Glad you liked this, I don't usually like my own writing, but I kind of liked this one. mikey

Hi....

Just desserts. A rat for a rat. Couldn't happen to a more suited individual, sooooo, maybe he should 'get over it!'

Nicely penned and presented. Good luck in the contest.

One way or the other, she will make him pay. The best payback, though, is to get rid of him and be happy. That's the best payback. Bugs the heck out of 'em when you're happy. Good little story which I enjoyed.

This story was more humorous to me than horrific. That picture had me laughing out loud. It was well written but evoked the wrong emotion from this reader.

No, that's the right emotion. :) Kind of creepy/funny. I gave up being truly scary long ago, just can't manage it! Pleased that it got a laugh out of you. I am terrified of rats though, so once one ran by me the laughter would stop!!

This is pretty good. Reminds me of an Alfred Hitchcock thriller....something like Psycho. I hate rats so your ending gave me a bit of goose bumps. The rats bring to mind that M.Jackson movie: Ben. You did great!

This one is creepy. You built suspense well and didn't give away what was really happening until the last sentence. Great job.

Oh yeah! If she could use a few more rats, I have a barn full of the freakishly awesome critters LOL! Great entry for this awesome 100 word horror or thriller contest. I hope to have my creation finished in time myself.
Good luck and God bless!

You should know there's nothing more dangerous than a woman scorned. And you show that here with the lousy, cheating husband getting his own when the wife uses all his phobias to eevn the score. Well told and very scary.

This story was not only eerie, but a little on the scary side too. I especially liked the rats crawling beneath the wallpaper. I'd be freaked too. This story is a good contender in the contest. Thanks for sharing.
