Gee, Susan
I don't know where you're finding these. I've forgotten writing them. What fun for me to see them and remember. Yes, this was me seeing if I could write a little fairy tale kind of thing. Glad you liked it. Maybe I'll try another. Thanks. mikey

Cute and quite a piece to end with such a wonderful conclusion.
Nice children's piece and a nice entry to the contest.
Rules followed and I wish I could write as you do and have it flow like the master. Very nice

Well done my good friend. Most enjoyable read. I seem to remember I have already mentioned about Tootsie55 writing on our trips in Australia especially the current chapters of our trip right across the country. Check out Chapters 20, 21, 22,23 and 24. So far only 20 and 21 up..22 and 23 hopefully today.

Mikey;
+ nearing notable alliteration's:/"sounding screams"/"Sonata Sprite"/"she screamed"/
+ Rhyming was done well with a different formattable structure however each of the rhyming words Were contingent to the meaning and concept of each line therefore making it neither forced nor labored and helpful in the rhythmic flow*.
+ Rhythmic flow had its moments throughout the poem but struggled in some areas but the times that there were a good flow the rhythms tempo, cadence, movement and timing all helpful in making the reading fluid, clear and easy.
+ Poetic assessment: as for a children's poem goes the reading is at a level much higher than for a child unless read and explained by an adult. This is my only sub professional understanding. The writing itself is done magically well and expresses and describes the many different variant stages of the poem that were excitingly expressive and fun to read.
+ Enjambment was used in this poem which is determined as the running on of a thought and idea or concept from one line of verse to the next without a syntactical break.
+ The luck in the contest Mikey and may the good Lord be with you always my friend.

Creatively written story within a poem about the preponderance of good over evil, and how it succeeded in defeating the witch. Good message for children, to see the power of good. Excellent rhyming and story line. Good luck in the contest. Faye

You have penned a winner here, my friend. Every little girl reads stories about a good fairy that comes to the rescue just in the nick-of=time. In this case, a fairy named Sonata empowers Splendid Cindy, by garnering up the goodness that resides within her to defeat the dastardly witch.

Wow. What a great poem. This was filed with poetic devices too numerous to mention. I read this to the neighbor's kids who squeled with delight. Awesome work.

I love the poem. I love the moral. It is so true. Goodness lays in every child. They can use this to fight evil. Great work.
