I love the picture. I love the poem. I always wondered if mice victims could haunt their killer cat. I see the cats sleeping and their eyes look like they are seeing something in their sleep. My killer cats only killed flies. The would jump as high as five feet to catch one. I did not need spray. Great work. Good luck in the contest.

I like that the ghosts are rodents that your cat kill and that they haunt his dreams. Great rhyme scheme in your poem. Great picture as well. Best of luck.

I like it. I like its rhyme and rhythm. I love the theme. Poor little mouser. He's having nightmares. I especially liked the ending.

I love cats. How can I not love a poem about a cat?
How can I not love a photo of such a cute cat?

disturbing 20 hours of sleep.

Poor Mauzer. Love this poem. It's a humerous and entertaining read with an adorable image as well. Hope Mauzer is sleeping better these days. Good luck in the contest as I really enjoyed this entry.

What a beautifully evil little cat you've chosen to accompany your words... love it! Somehow, with a face like that, and a penchant for catching/killing mice, I have a hard time believing Mauzer is bothered at all by those pesky vermin spectres!

Appreciated this funny little cat and mouse t(ail)!

I love the art
strong rhymes
My cat Tiger, what a great hunter he was, created quite a few ghosts too :-)
excellent use of enjambment
good alliteration in meal the mouser/most
and in cause crap
I love the ironic rat in a trap simile
I love gallows humor and love cats, so this is a double bonus poem :-) Brooke

A different kind of insight. Looking at the world through cat eyes and thoughts. Unique. A mouse haunting at that. Cute pic with story. I liked, it's interesting and quirky:)

    Thank you, Kim, for the review. I think with such a low opinion of this work you should provide some corrections that you would suggest. An AVERAGE mark typically indicates there is a problem. Is there?

    I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to offend you. I am new to this, and maybe should have read/reread over again of how to be a decent reviewer. This was my first day. I did not have a low opinion, I enjoyed it very much.You are correct, I do see to where if I rate it lower than I should have some type of negative comment, sorry again for the misunderstanding. Thank you for catching me on it, so I will not make the same mistake again.

    This is normal and I did it myself when I first started. You don't have to do anything, but if you ever feel you want to upgrade a review you simply go to the same post and change it. This sometimes happens when you rate someone low, give them your reasons, and they revise and improve their post. Didn't mean to sound harsh. Happy day.

Very cute! This poem is excellently written and the presentation is perfect. A perfect kind of serious and dark picture of a cat who is haunted by his victims. Very nicely done!
