Ha ha this is funny! I think it's clever. But yes, I think it's a natural concern when we hear others that may be spending time alone. It's in our nature for you boys to not feel lonely. Thank you for the entertainment.

I think it's a funny little story that illustrates that we all need someone in our lives to create inspiration, to have someone to share in the burdens of pain and loss, as well as the joys of life. Without it, we get lethargic, we slump into the chair in front of the tv set and lose our energy, our creative energy. I thought the dialogue was lively and full of personality. estory

Hello Terry,
I'm not sure how I would adapt to not having my wife around. Life is certainly a lot easier on the one hand, and I don't have to worry about being lonely, but no doubt without her here, my life would change considerably. I suspect I'd have to spend more time in a warm climate fishing, but even that wouldn't make up for the loss of her. Thanks for sharing.
Have a blessed evening.
Tom

Humor is both the best medicine for every ailment and a huge talent of yours. Good writing and with just a touch of the serious. I'm saying my prayers for your complete recovery with or without any female supervision.

I wish you health and humor. Take care, Terry, and never, ever fail to call on me if you need or want anything. Merry Christmas. ann

I enjoyed this. I am doing better now that I have moved closer to my sisters. I love fan story and it has saved me.
People are not meant to be alone. But, don't rush into anything because you are lonely. And, people at our age do not need to marry. Keep finances and property separate from others. Just M.O.O. ( my own opinion ). Karen

I am alone also, but rarely lonely. And candy would hold no weight with me. :-)

ROFL! Your poor cardiologist had one of my reoccurring problems. I've spent a lifetime wanting different women so badly I could taste them. Then, once I got them, they stuck like glue. I couldn't give them away or pay someone enough to get rid of them. It's kind of like a new car. Within two weeks it creaks and pops and the new smell is gone. And my ex-wife: like paying for a car once you've wrecked it. Thanks for sharing.

If you have not watched Landman, you need to. Billy Bob Thorton has ex-wife troubles you may identify with. LOL. Thanks for the review. Terry.

I've watched it. Great show. And you're exactly right, I spotted some similarities from the first segment. LOL. You're welcome! I enjoyed it. Ric

My own wife of 51 years passed away this past September. I do however, have plenty of female supervision as my adult daughter aged 42, and my adult foster daughter aged 30, who both live with me in my home, supervise me sometimes to my distress and annoyance. I now think that I would rather find another wife, who might not feel the need to supervise my every waking moment. Now that I think about it, they are even concerned about the quality of my sleep. LOL.

A great job that caused this reader to laugh and smile.
The best one is 'short-term rental'.
Very good dialogue that moves the story along and keeps the reader engaged.
Thank you for sharing.
