Your poem does highlight the sad plight that man finds himself in - and the only one he can blame is himself. Greed has just about destroyed the planet and it does
not look like there will be any changes forthcoming. Too sad.

Take care and have a wonderful day.

Stunning artwork you chose to accompany this piece! And yes, it's incredible to me that instead of waking up to our earth's plight, we're actually moving in the opposite direction. Crazy and very sad times.

Thank you for your kind words about the artwork. It is indeed concerning to see the challenges our planet faces and the direction things are taking. It's important for all of us to stay informed and take action, even in small ways, to contribute to a more sustainable future. Every little effort counts in making a positive impact.

Your haiku describes the state of earth's balance succinctly and with a somber message for its inhabitants But, despite our best/worst efforts to destroy the earth, God is still in control.

Thank you for your thoughtful reflection. It's true that while we face significant challenges, there is hope and resilience in the natural world and in the efforts of individuals and communities working towards positive change. Believing that there is a greater force or plan can provide comfort and motivation to continue striving for a better future.

Peter,
This is a lovely poem about the current state of the Earth.
Will we ever learn to gently and lovingly treat our planet (our physical sustainer)?
Great words.
Peter,
Good luck.
Blessings,
Cindy

Yes it's is sadly Peter and you have captured this catastrophic situation in a beautiful poem. Carefully chosen words and great image to compliment, with stunning colours.
Good luck with the 5-7-5 contest.

I'm sure your haiku says it all very succinctly and pricks our conscience for the harm we do and the "precious harmony" we disrupt through selfish and money-oriented obsessions. Nicely done, Peter, in compliance with the format. Good luck! Debbie

As God is greater than any and all of his creations, the day is coming, and fear not, it will come, when all will be set aright.
At the end of Revelation 11:18 the phrase "and for destroying the destroyers of the earth". This phrase talks about not only polluters, but also about the destruction of those pushing hate, greed, and unchecked violence.

Your reflection on the message from Revelation 11:18 highlights the hope and justice that many find in this passage. It speaks to the promise of setting things right and addressing the harms caused by pollution, hate, greed, and violence. This perspective can offer comfort and motivation to work towards a more harmonious and just world. Thank you for sharing this meaningful interpretation.
