Hi Debi, your poem is a good look into the different types of love and how love grows and evolves throughout our life.
Your poem reads and flows well and has good sensory appeal.
Of special note:
Dear Mom, I will always love you
(There is nothing greater than a mother's love. It's that loves that shapes us into who we become.)
Great photo choice. Well done. As this is a contest entry, I wish you good luck. Xo. M

This is a beautiful tribute to the different stages of love. Each is unique and play an important part in our progression through life. In the end they come full circle and begins all over again. Lovely sentiments!

Love is beautiful and pure when it is new and blossoms as we mature. This expresses that love journey through the years and it captures it's very essence in its simplicity of expression.

What a nice reflection on the types of love. I love that you were able to capture a fast pace in this poem. Each of these phases in life is a good chunk of time, but just seems to fly by. Well done. Good luck in the contest!

A wonderful journey to take the reader through. You showed a life with stages of love that ended in in the speaker becoming a parent. Show much love to be had.

You've shown us all the different stages of life and the different forms of love in this well written Monorhyme. Then, all too soon we get to see grandies come into our life. A lovely read. Good luck in the contest.

Isn't it amazing how long it seems for children to grow and then they are gone which has us confused where did all the time go.
Ours wedded three years ago and where they visited regularly in years one and two they don't stop in any longer
