I just found this poem. I had gotten backlogged doing "Compliance Training" for work. I'm glad I came across it. It is so appropriate for what we've all experienced emotionally today. I know I needed it!!

Yes, Debi, I can so relate to this. When things look a bit bleak, I always try to look at the bright side of things. And miraculously it always helps and without fail. I loved your poem about how you deal with it. Ulla:)))

Hahahaha! Jake, I am not laughing at you. Instead at myself. I loved your comparison when you send yours are usually darker. I will say they are. Lol, but its not that I don't go there too at times. I just don't like feeling sad, so I have to do whatever it takes to snap out of it. However, you, all of my friends here are some of the brightest sides I can find and that is no joking matter. I think we all get great feelings from knowing so many this close and have caring relationships with them. Thanks Jake for being one of those bright spots in my life.

Music is my go-to when I am feeling down. Sometimes, it's an upbeat tune, and other times, I put on the sound of the ocean, so I can imagine myself on the beach. The shimmering waves lulling me to sleep as dolphins glide through the swells. Thank you for sharing the reminder, Debi.

You are so right, Faith. A bright side to something can be anything that promotes happiness. On a day like I was having as I had bad health information, I had to consciously find my bright side by writing about it. Whenever something is really bad, if I can say, but on the bright side, then I can work it out. This time I could not do that, so by writing and hearing all the lovely bright ways others handle things, it is helping tremendously.
I love that music does that for you. You are so inspirational, dear friend. I forgot how music soothes the soul and when you sing along, it becomes even more enduring. Thanks again Faith!

It felt good to red this cheerful, positive work following some very sad writings. We need both kinds of writings but when one like yours appears at the right time, the intent becomes so much more endearing to us.
