What is a "point"?
Is a "point" different from a "cent" ?
How are points used and how do they appear in our account? Thank you.

The points determine your reviewer's ranking. Click on the 'My' tab at the top, then click on 'status'. Scroll down to Reviewing rank and it will show you how many points you've earned and how many needed to reach the next level.
I don't think it really means much.

Yep, it's pretty meaningless. I assume they have an algorithm to determine when you go up one reviewing level, but there is no way to see how many points you earn with each review.
