Lord my soul is thine alone With obedient heart, I'll give it back Not mine, just given for a loan Lord my soul is thine alone Be with us Lord, my soul and I My soul will live, e'en though I die Lord my soul is thine alone With obedient heart, I'll give it back Recognized Author Notes Thine is archaic, soft and spiritual, meaning yours... e'en means even. This is my first Triolet ( if I remember correctly) it was, to say the least, an interesting project.
