: Visit to the Rain forest by Carolyn 'Deaton' Stephens

Orangutangs swing from tree to tree
Their big bright eyes shine back at me
A large green snake lurks on a limb
There is no doubt..I'm scared of him

Tree frog grips with small cupped feet
Ruby red eyes that look like beets
Jaguar sleek snoozes in the shade
In tropic clime he has it made

Queen Ibis preens upon the ground
Splendid Toucans flying around
Butterfly gems on leaves are hung
Kinkajou sticks out his tongue

Glorious sights and sounds we share
Endangered Rainforest so fair

Author Notes
