Our house cat, Mauzer, made a few ghosts
of rodents that were a bane to the host
and were the meal the mouser liked most
but now they are haunting his sleep.
Just as his cat eyes close for a nap
many mice spectres rise to cause crap
Mauzer is tortured like a rat in a trap
and the spirits of vermin will creep
