Twenty Miles Travelled by The Death Your Life in 150 words writing prompt entry |
During my childhood, I was very reserved and never thought of how this vast world can transform my life. I had my own little world to explore and live in.
When I was in fourth grade, my grandfather died and I felt the complexity of this world for the first time. Since then, I am too terrified to lose my dear ones. I have spent many sleepless nights in the fear of their departure, and the biggest tragedy is--we have no control over our thoughts. The harder we try to forget, the more painful do collisions get within. Now, even in my twenties, I find it extremely difficult to get along with new faces. I don't give others the free space easily for relations to bloom. Perhaps, it's a precautionary step to escape from the futuristic pains. Prejudices rule my mind, but I have started following the inner voice freely.
