This site is such a wondrous place,
It titillates, your muse will tease.
it conjures any role to please,
including fate, or facts, or grace.
It's here through cold or summer haze.
but I am grateful for these days,
It passes through the weekend's craze,
to catch the six-stars Sunday pays.
So great the challenge, all the hype.
For I love rhyme, though like all types.
Though you may be a free verse scribe,
prefer haiku, nonets imbibe.
We share a covenantal pact.
But most of all I like you folk,
as some write fiction, some write fact.
though some write humour, others joke.

Rime tessera
Created by Roy Owen. A rime tesera has 5 quatrains in 8 syllable per line, it has 4 different rhyme schemes, this one is ABBA CCCC DDEE FGFG XXXX (you can write these rhyme schemes, but in any order you choose, but the last stanza must make sense) the fifth stanza is a summary, or envoi, with the first line from the four stanzas gathered as a generally non-rhyming verse
