Our Jessica's been writing since she learned to hold a pen
She knew already then, she'd write again and then again
Her first poem she had published in school paper at age nine
And it would not surprise me if she soon had books to sign
Jess went to a performing school, Ed Center for the Arts
And she'd perform and sing in town; she would play many parts
In college, radiation therapy, her career plan
That's where she met love of her life, her husband to be, Dan
Then they would start a family, first sweet Morgan was born
And Jessica could barely stand to leave her every morn
So she put her career on hold to be a full time mom
And their life in Connecticut, at that time was still calm
Then sadness came upon them when her sister, Kelly died.
And Jessica had never felt that kind of pain inside
Then thankfully their little newborn Camryn came along
And Jessica knows that her girls both help her to stay strong
Once Jess and Kelly wrote music when Kelly was alive
But Jess would Stop ~ she wasn't even sure how she'd survive
Then early Twenty Twenty Three, she came to FanStory
And now she writes about her loss and how it came to be
Three poems and a short story published, what a winning streak
