The only births that I would see
When I was in delivery
My babies made a mom of me
Most special thing I’d ever be
They started as an embryo
But then as children they would grow
One day my status dropped below
The man who made my daughter glow
When she was pregnant they would warn
That there was something in her torn
I stayed to help her 'till the morn
I'd get to see my grandson born
I doubt that there has ever been
A bigger thrill than I had then
At least I can’t remember when
And doubt I ever will again
