Merry~go~Rhyme for Annmuma
Tributes
:
Happy 80th Birthday Ann
by Debi Pick Marquette
Louisiana born and raised until age of nineteen
She's been in Dallas sixty years, they've not all been serene
Ronnie and Ann had forty years, kids, Mary, Denise, Ray
Then came heartache for them, when sadly Ronnie passed away
But thankfully she is a Gran; Five grandkids brightened days for Ann
Years later married Randall, his love she could rely on
But it was during Covid, he turned ill, he too was gone
So once again such pain and sorrow, seems like God forbids
Her family would help her, and now three sweet great grandkids
She has another caring man, her brother, John, is there for Ann
Now Ann has owned insurance agency thirty four years
And Mary helps with mom's business and are entrepreneurs
She loves her watch dog, Bandit, who helps keep her safe and sound
He barks like crazy to tell Ann if strangers are around
Off to casino when she can; An outing that is fun for Ann
Work will be done end of the year, she sold the agency
So now at just eighty years young, retirement she’ll see
There’ll be more time for birdwatching, debating politics
National Parks with family, and fun on their picnics
At FanStory, I am her fan, I treasure my friendship with Ann
When started poem, I first began, to tell you this, but then I ran
A hundred years is in her plan, to make it part of her life span
I think if anybody can, our now 80 year young Ann can
So all in our FanStory clan, please wish Happy Birthday to Ann
