The Splendor Of The Seasons

Across the azure-colored sky,
Birds spread their wings and take to flight,
Casting shadows on the ground.
Dainty flowers commence to bloom.
Each with its own unique design,
Flooding the air with perfumed scents.
Grand colors scattered all around.
Heaven’s sun warms the earth,
Inviting spring and summer pleasures.
Jack-o-lanterns then steal the show.
Kindling’s gathered for blazing fires,
Lighting up the darkened night.
Many scary tales are told as
Now it’s time for Halloween!
Old leaves of Autumn tumbling down,
Painting scenes with orange, red and gold;
Quite the sight to behold.
Rustic pictures from God’s own hands.
Summer’s gone and the warm breeze, too,
Taken by the chilling winds.
Unfolding into clouds of grey,
Visually the land is bare —
Winter’s surely on its way.
Xenogamy has long since passed.
Young ones, happy for deep snow,
Zoom down the hills on skis and sleds.
