Just a quick thought after church last Sunday. Jesus rescued us, because He loves us so much! The picture above shows Jesus tenderly holding the lamb, just as He holds us. Jesus is often called, the lamb of God" because He was sacrificed for us.
What really hits me...He could have gotten off the cross easily, because He is Jesus! But... He was obeying His Father. Pretty cool that He didn't take the easy way out. I cannot help but praise that perfect man for all He did for us imperfect people.
