Somewhere a heart is breaking
A mother watches the news
As men in blues
Drag a man through the street
He drags his feet

It seems no mercy is given
The crowd is driven
Rioting and unease
Is in the breeze

Somewhere a heart is breaking
A mother watches the news
Young men accuse
As bricks are thrown
Breaking bone

Somewhere a heart is breaking
He looks down from above
And wonders what has happened to love?
When will the conflict cease?
When will earth's children find peace?
