Jesus weeps for reprieve.
Easter
by Aussie
Gethsemane where he prayed
Disciples slept unafraid He asked them to pray They slept the night away. Tears of fear He did weep Asking Father for eternal sleep His life on earth - gave a sigh Father told him - you must die. Die to be born again, Son of Man He gave himself to Father's plan Cruel death He endured for us Jesus cried - "Abba, if I must." Now we see the risen Lord above Easter brings His wonderful love When you know His sacrifice Thank Him not once but thrice. Easter brings us to His table Gifts He gives, life now stable Think of His life sacrificed He paid ultimate price. |

The real meaning of Easter has been forgotten by many - just a holiday and food a 'plenty. He died that we may live, not once but twice, once on earth and secondly, in heaven with Him. Happy Easter friends.
