Understanding the "AHA" in Haiku contest entry

I have used the Leap linkage as shown in the example, which connects the first 2 lines of concrete imagery. The kigo of winter in the AHA moment found in the last line of the Haiku, speaks to the season as opposed to nature in general. I have used 15 sylables
