Some say it was a power outage. I say it was karma.
Grady was ragging on me; my dress was too short, too much cleavage--he said I looked like a whore. He took me to the club anyway, but spent all night flirting with other women.
The music stopped, it was pitch black. I felt gentle lips on mine and a soft voice whispered, 'You can do better, Girl.'
When the lights flashed on, I saw Grady pawing a woman in the corner.
Six men were leaning against the bar, smiling--at me!
Yup--karma. I surveyed my options.
