The Loneliest Man

They look so small from up here. Countless times I have saved them.
Some love me, most fear me, and then there’s Luthor. There’s only hate in him.
It would be so easy. I can see him down there scheming; searching for a way to kill me.
I could destroy him from here. No one would know, but what about the next Luthor?
How many would I have to kill before they stopped being afraid of me? Who’ll be left?
They’ll never understand how it feels to be different and yet, similar.
The hardest part about being Superman…is the Man.
