a blind date kiss
The Blind Date
by boxergirl
Sheila waited outside the bar for her taxi. Staring up at the stars, she questioned God about why all of her blind dates turned out to be jerks. Steve had seemed pretty nice online; she recognized him by his red tie. After a few minutes, she found him both obnoxious and self-absorbed.
Her taxi pulled up, and a rather nice-looking man jumped out and ran towards her. She stared in mild disbelief as he tugged gently on her red scarf, kissed her on the cheek, and said, "Sheila, I am so sorry that I'm late."
