"Tomorrow is a special day"
my mummy and daddy say,
"a big boy you will now be
even a little taller you will see."

"To bed early, sleep snug and tight,
the sun will be shining Oh! so bright
when you awake from your sweetest dreams,
waiting for you, presents, birthday cake and ice cream."

Leaping out of bed
excitement running through my head
"come and see" mummy yells out to me,
a wonderful surprise I did see.

A little puppy running towards me,
falling to my knees
I give him a cuddle, wrapped in my arms
outside we go running around on the farm.

"He is very special present, I really love him already,
we shall always be best friends; his name is teddy,
"this is the best 5th birthday ever"
smiling at mummy and daddy while at play together.
