I Will Stand
by The Death
Leaves may fly away
just like the time leaving one deserted shattered, exhausted But I will stand as the shielding stem to heal your pain through drought and wane ~o~ In sinister dim hours your soul will shimmer vanishing webbed veils to let conscience reveal For I will stand to carry you swiftly along all shadowy paths and never let you fall ~o~ When this elusive world will make you feel vacuous your vacillating thoughts need not be worded As I will stand to absorb your silence releasing your emotions to replete bleak voids ~o~ Evanescent moments that we have shared while facing extremities will last for few minutes Though I will stand to make you reminisce the ecstasy of dreams entwined with reality ~o~ Even when I depart you will sense my presence since nothing is immortal in this mundane world Yet I will stand as an invisible sheath to guard your wishes till my last breath I promise that I will stand to be with you....forever. |

This one is for my most special bestie.
Had to keep it simple(for the person does't seem to enjoy poetry much...LOL).
I hope to present it as a birthday gift.
