Whiny Walter

by Idamarty

Little whiny Walter was only four,
All he ever wanted was more, more, more.
He had no sister, he had no brother,
An only child, there was no other.

When he sat down to eat he'd whine, and how,
``I just want to eat dessert now, now, now!``
Meat and veggies he would not even try,
He'd hold his breath and turn blue, then he'd cry.

At the mall his mom said, ``Be a good boy.``
But Walter just shouted out, ``Toy, toy, toy.``
He'd make a scene until his mom gave in.
You could tell her patience was wearing thin.

``You are behaving like a spoiled brat.``
But Walter screamed out, ``I want that, that, that.``
Time out for Walter was a real big joke
He'd throw his toys on the floor `till they broke.

Then one night his dad took his mom away,
Walter stayed at Grandma's house `till Sunday.
When he got home all he could do was stare,
``Meet your baby brother, you'll have to share.``
