Now Willie was a very bright lad,
But uneducated, which was sad;
12 years of school he made,
But kept failing fifth grade,
Choosing not to enter sixth with dad.

I suppose one could say Willie was smart
Not to pass his dad on the chart
For it would not be cool
To make dad look a fool
If from home, he didn't want to depart.
