Geraldo, Road to Rescue

One time I had a tan fur tabby
that fattened fleas and dodged swift cars.
Knockabout kit, I pitied. 
Fetched a box, had him caught 
cleaned, fixed - many scars.
Spinster's ginger,
Geraldo 
with a 
G!
