Discrimination is a problem, that's running a hateful course,
Hating without compassion, hating without remorse.
It hates the place you came from; it hates that you are here,
Its anger is ignited whenever you are near.
It despises your attire; and it mocks your speech,
It longs to oust you, but it's weak and cannot reach.
So, it backs the candidate who vows to do the deed,
A garden of hostility grown from this hateful seed.
Things are coming to a head, and soon we will see
The kind of nation this will finally be.
We are one species, despite how we look or sound,
Lovingly crafted from the dust of the ground.
We can succumb to hatred, feeding it every day,
My prayer is for those who will find a better way.
I hope our efforts inspire them to embrace love,
Without doubt, this would please our God above.
So, let no one discriminate anymore,
May the key to love open heaven’s door.
Glorious blessings from above await us,
Gifts from a God who does not hate us.
