A poem

Creation's curse

by royowen

For three long years he walked through sand,
his clothing stripped, thus made his stand.
Isaiah naked, as first born.
Those Hebrews sins caused God to mourn.

Mankind will worship what they see,
what's made of stone, or wood from tree,
But that's creation spawned by sight,
they turn what's seen from day to night.

Yet if they looked they'd know these signs
of beauty made by God who pines.
He made the Earth and all within,
they turned what's holy into sin.

The stars were made from hands (whose grace}
is shining in the moon's bright face.
The trees that decorate the field,
still clap their hands, to God they yield.

I look amazed, God gave me sight,
to see the dawn, released from night.
I see His Son revealed in grace,
and in my soul I see His face.

Isaiah 20:2
At that time the Lord spoke by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, Go, and loose the sackcloth from your waist and take off your sandals from your feet, and he did so, walking naked and barefoot. ESV

Romans 1:25-27
They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the creator who is forever praised. Amen. Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. NIV
