Gentilesse

                     Golden blood—precious gemstone,
                     excellence glinting—sparkles!
                     No best is better
                     than your worst—
                     Icarus-peasants who might
                     launch into pastiche origami of heredity’s
                     elegant sculptural masterpiece
                     sizzle within your magnanimous glare.
                     Sedate them with benevolence,
                     each green subject adoring.
