Spring Sings

Every season has its own charm
But there’s something especially
Heartening about Spring
Buds of green on the Maples
Pink and white flowers burgeon on
Cherries and Apples
 
Nature's dulcet melodies unfolding
Aroma of fresh greens emerge
Songs of birds and refrains of winds
Echo down from just awaking trees
 
Spring is walking into an impressionist
Painting by Claude Monet or Alfred Sisley
Ambling barefoot in morning's dewy grass
Brings a renewed energy to our lives
